About this Craftsperson

Clay Foster began the life of an artist and woodworker at the age of five when his father gave him his very own hand saw. He has taught at conferences and schools around the world and has work in museums and collections throughout North America. As founding member number 50 in the AAW, he has been involved in woodturning for decades. After a five-year sabbatical, he has come out of retirement to teach at Marc Adams School of Woodworking.
