Brian Byrne

About this Craftsperson

Brian Byrne started his woodworking career under the guidance of his grandfather. At 16, his Eagle Scout project was to make 200 wooden toy cars for the food pantry in Johnson County, which were distributed at Christmas time to families in need. In his early teens, Brian worked at MASW as a summer intern, learning all he could about woodworking. After high school, Brian attended IUPUI and in 2017 graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Over the years, he has had the honor of assisting and working with some of the greatest craftspeople of modern time. In 2025, Brian received his MASW Master’s. His goal in life is to earn an Employee of the Month award at MASW. (Just a heads up—it isn’t going to happen.)
