Workshop Description
FinishWorks and Mohawk are offering this five-day professional finishing program for the MASW family of students. Participants will learn how to prep and sand a project to make it ready for a finish. Students create stained and painted samples of precatalyzed finishes, conversion varnishes, and waterborne finishes. Tim will also discuss color theory, application methods, repair, distressing, and problem solving. Upon completion of the class, students will have 16 samples of clear-coated, stained, and painted finishes to use as storyboards to develop finishes in their shop. If you are considering moving your finishing skills to a professional level, this class is for you.
