Workshop Description
From precious pieces to everyday items, this valet can help organize valuables in an elegant way. The dovetailed case features wrapped-cord handles and a frame-and-panel lid. The interior is outfitted with mitered lift-out trays and a ring holder. This useful chest offers a variety of woodworking challenges in a small project. Students can put the skills they learn in this class to use on any number of other projects as well. The class will cover tips for fast, accurate dovetails when building the case. Mitered trays are a powerful solution when dividing a space for contents. Participants will learn how to fine-tune the fit of a frame-and-panel lid and cut perfect hinge mortises.
