In this hands-on class, students will build a heavy-duty welding table designed to be the cornerstone of their workshop. The table features a flat, slotted top that allows for versatile clamping anywhere on the surface-perfect for welding, fabrication, and even woodworking projects. All materials are provided to construct a table up to 4′ x 4′. Under the guidance of the McFie Brothers, students will learn essential welding techniques while following design guidelines that let them customize the table to fit their needs. No prior welding experience is required. Ben and his brothers will make everything clear, and their step-by-step teaching process ensures every student will successfully complete their table. By the end of the class, participants will head home with a finished welding table ready for immediate use. More importantly, students will gain the confidence and skills to tackle metal projects such as table legs, frames, hardware, tools, jigs, gates, and more. This table won’t just be a project-it will become one of the most valuable tools in your shop. Students must plan on transporting the completed table. It will weigh several hundred pounds.
