In this two-day course, Matthew Springer, founder and CEO of Clean Armor, will show students how to properly apply, cure, sand, and buff the latest in coatings technology, Clean Armor. This UV-curable wood clear coat finish can be applied via spray, roll, brush, or wipe-on. Students will learn that the product can be applied over existing, fully cured finishes and stains. Matt also teaches the class proper prep and sealing techniques for wood products. This safe and low-energy UV-curable system provides a thoroughly cured finish in two minutes upon exposure to the appropriate UVA light source, whether UVA fixture, direct, or indirect sunlight. Students will leave the course with a heightened sense of confidence regarding their knowledge of VOC/HAP-free protective wood coatings.
