Participants will spend two days developing basic skills for spindle turning, two days turning bowls, and one day turning lidded containers. Other topics will include basics of tool sharpening and how to cut and prepare turning blanks from green logs. The instruction will move along quickly throughout the week and students will make several projects. This course will be particularly helpful for new turners, turners with some experience who want to move quickly to the next level, and those interested in teaching others how to turn.

There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.

This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
