This weekend workshop will explore using the scroll saw for unique and personalized holiday gifts. Students will be making several Intarsia ornaments and small projects that they can keep or give as Christmas gifts. Having prior scroll saw skill will be helpful, but basic scroll saw operation and tips on cutting will be demonstrated at the beginning of the class. Kathy will cover the key elements on how to stack cut fretwork ornaments as well as the process of making intarsia ornaments, one sided and two sided. Adding details by carving and wood burning will be explained. Student will have six or more ornaments completed by the end of the class, along with extra patterns for more ornaments to be completed at home.

There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.

This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
