Doug Stowe has taught woodworking grades k-12 at the Clear Spring School for 19 years. His new book Wisdom of the Hands Guide to Woodworking with Kids offers useful information on how-to engage children safely in your wood shop. Whether you are a parent, a grandparent, a scout leader or teacher, this workshop will prepare participants ways to teach and to share their love of woodworking with new generations. This is not a parent/child workshop, rather an opportunity for an adult to learn the process of teaching woodworking to youth.
