about this workshop
In this class, students will learn what a plane is really intended to do! Graham will demonstrate how to fettle, tune, and sharpen it, regardless if the plane is made of wood, composite, or metal—old, rusty, or new or expensive. The course will focus primarily on bench planes (smoothers, jacks, and jointers) but if you have block planes, rabbet or any specialty plane, Graham will show how to use them efficiently. Make sure to bring all the planes you have. You’ll never need sandpaper or sanders again!
