Shop Design: Making the Best of Limited Shop Space with Andy Glantz May 11, 2019 (Sat)
*Infeed and outfeed space for machines
*Rolling work stations
*Design and construction of tool cabinets and storage
This one day workshop is designed to help students maximize the efficiency and use of space for a more productive small shop. Andy will talk about what tools are best to use in a small shop plus the value of movable equipment. Storage will also be addressed. Students will need to bring scale drawings of their shop, a list of benches, tables and machines and their sizes. Photos of the shop will help as well. After a brief discussion of general layout, students will start drawing plans, with Andy’s guidance, that will optimize the precious space for the best and safest working environment.
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.
This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
