In this full week class, students will have the opportunity to design and make panels which can be used as ways of making window coverings, room dividers or even bifold closet doors. Students will explore several methods for easy screen construction in a range of joinery (such as loose tenons, wafers, Dominoes) and lattice production. These screens are widely variable, and can employ several materials, including rice paper, laminated paper, wood panels and fabric. Screens or dividers can be made in any size desired. This class will require intermediate skills with the table saw and router.
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.
This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
