More Information on this Workshop

This is a sophisticated looking edge detail that looks more difficult to do than it is–once you know the tricks. It can be incorporated into almost any cabinet or table design and can frame and beautifully compliment a burled veneered top or accent a solid wood top or cabinet. When applying radial veneer to a waterfall on a curve the sections of veneer are no longer wedge shaped but have a serpentine shaped edge. This class will show you how to make a jig to ensure the segments of veneer fit together flawlessly. Veneer where it meets an edge is very fragile and prone to chipping, with this method all edges are first underplayed with solid wood. Waterfall edges from an inch wide to 8 inches will be demonstrated.
