Come enjoy a week with a friend, husband, wife, daughter, son or anyone else you might like to build a project with. Students will come away from this class with a range of solid techniques applicable to furniture making, as well as built-ins. Some of the techniques, such as the method of constructing the side panels, are unusual and offer potential for creative adaptation in a variety of contemporary pieces. Although participants probably won’t finish the bookcase by the end of the week, Doug and Landon will demonstrate all of the steps so that it can easily be finished at home.
