This Greene and Greene Robinson chair is a key piece in the Arts and Crafts era and for the design portfolio of the Greene brothers. This chair mixes traditional elements of both Asian and European style while finding its own very unique voice. Students will learn the essential elements of creating a chair in the Greene and Greene style by exploring many practical techniques to create an advanced chair, including but not limited to: carving, sculpting, vacuum pressing, re sawing, and curved joinery. Join Reid for a week of fun and creativity while creating an impressive Greene and Greene chair.
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.
This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
