This course is intended for Tormek sharpening system owners/users or those considering a new machine and is suitable for all skill levels. The main objectives are to learn how to make your tools as sharp as possible and how to get the most out of your Tormek system. During the class, students will sharpen woodworking tools, wood turning tools, knives and drill bits. Students will become extremely familiar with the Tormek Sharpening Method and gain insights that will take their sharpening skills to the “next level”. Stig is a Tormek employee with many years of experience sharpening and teaching how to sharpen—it’s guaranteed to be a great day of learning. Students are encouraged to bring their own tools and Tormek equipment. There will also be several Tormek T-8 originals available to demo along with all of the latest versions of Tormek’s jigs, accessories, and attachments.

Instruction Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm (EST)
Note: During the work week, the shop remains open after 6:00 p.m. for handwork, design, research, catch-up work and socializing.
