This class will explore the fun and accessible craft of knifesmithing, using a variety of both traditional and modern skills. Under David’s guidance, students will craft a fully functional blade, grip and leather sheath. All three of these elements will feature the student’s personal design aesthetic. The knives forged in this class won’t be strictly limited to historical designs, as the class will also explore mythic ideas and shapes, inspired by landscapes and lore. The difficulty level will be determined by each student, and will depend on their skill level and on their ambitions for the week.

There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.

This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
