Detailing Table & Chair Legs with Michael Fortune (Sat) August 27, 2022

about this workshop

This class will show students how to transform table or chair legs from something functional to something that truly sings. Shaping, inlay, stringing, beading, collar and foot details, ebonizing and using alternate materials will be covered. Michael will show how to make clamping accessories to securely hold legs that don’t interfere with the decorative detail work. Altogether this is a “peachy” class that will add to your bag of decoration tricks.
