about this workshop
There are many wonderful furniture forms that folks just shy away from because of a head-scratcher type of joinery. How often have woodworkers looked at a specific joint such as a knuckle and said “What in the world?” In this class students will make four or five of these little mysteries and take a look at some others with the goal of demystifying how they go together. Students will leave this class with an understanding of how to fabricate these joints factoring in strength, movement and aesthetics. This is a great course that will open up new avenues for any woodworker.
