This two day workshop will introduce students to finishing metal through the patina process. Patination is a chemical process that builds layers of colored oxides on the surface of metal. Students will create their own samples on brass and copper sheets during the class to take home. They are also welcome to bring objects that are made out of copper, brass or bronze to try some patina techniques on them as long as they are small in size.
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.
This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
