For anyone who has ever wanted to move from success to significance, this is your class. “Building Faith” joins craftsmanship to cause by creating a single piece of furniture that benefits multiple lives. The first person in the text of Scripture to ever be recorded as “filled with the Spirit of God” was a craftsman named Bezalel. Exodus 35 & 36 says, “……the Lord has chosen Bezalel the son of Uri, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of craft…Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person whom the Lord has given ability and who was willing to come and do the work…” During this six day workshop, MASW welcomes anyone who is filled with the Spirit of God and the willingness to come and do the work. It will be our task to build a beautiful conference table that will feature veneer, inlay, exposed joinery and simple sculpture. Skill is not necessary; everyone can help! This conference table has already been commissioned and in exchange for the table, a generous financial contribution will be made to the Narrow Gate Exchange Program (NGE). The mission of the NGE is to foster Discipleship, Education, and Economy in developing countries around the world. It is their goal to see communities and nations transformed by enabling qualified disciples from various countries come to the US and receive intensive training at MASW in milling lumber and making wood products that can be used for their infrastructure. After their training at MASW, these “Market-Place Ministers” will spend ten weeks in Tennessee at the Narrow Gate Lodge. While there, they will be spiritually prepared to employ kingdom principles in their personal lives and businesses which will impact their communities and change the world. Your participation in this class builds funding and supports the Narrow Gate Exchange students by adding cause to craftsmanship.
