In this workshop students will build an elegant hall table with subtle curves. This Asian table was featured in a Fine Woodworking online video series and an accompanying article in Fine Woodworking magazine. Tim designed it so that it will fit well anywhere in the house including the entryway or in a hallway or even behind a sofa. Its floating top and subtle curves gives it a real feeling of lightness, while its rock solid mortise and tenon joinery and splayed leg stance make it incredibly strong. Students will use a blend of machine and hand skills to make a similar table of their very own.
