*Fabricate a guitar bridge

*Learn to calculate fret spacing using the “Rule of 18”
*Make jigs and fixtures for fabricating fingerboards and bridges
Fingerboards and bridges! These are the two most challenging parts of a stringed musical instrument to build due to their shape and precise placement of the frets. John will show students how to make a difficult task simple. Participants will not only make these parts in class, but they will also make three jigs to take home, ready to make these parts on their own. Time will also be spent to learn the “Rule of 18” that will allow students to create a precision fingerboard for any fretted instrument and for any scale length. While this class is designed as a next step for those who have already taken the “Guitar Methods” class, anyone with a desire to build stringed instruments will benefit from this class.
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.
This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
