The furniture making process can be very involved with its diverse components: designing, processing lumber, joinery, etc. Hardware is often an afterthought when building a project. If you were ever: (a) not sure what is available or the best choice; (b) how to install hardware effectively; and/or (c) not satisfied with previous results; this course is for you. Various types of hardware will be examined, from hinges to locks, and other relevant items used on furniture. Mark will present information through short lectures and demonstrations. Students will spend a portion of time practicing a number of the skills covered in order to reinforce the learning process. At the end of class, participants will have a better overall understanding pertaining to the application of, and skills needed, to install hardware successfully.

There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $45.

This registration fee is not a part of the class fee and is not deducted from the final balance due. This is the financial binding that locks you into the class and starts the registration process. This fee does not apply to students who only take one single day workshop.
