Craftsmanship Across the Board
Rex Burningham was introduced to woodturning by the late Dale Nish and worked as an assistant in woodturning courses while in college. He assisted alongside some of the world’s best-known woodturners, including Dale Nish, Rude Osolnik, Richard Raffan and Ray Key, giving Rex the chance to learn from the best. He is a nationally recognized woodturner, teaching and demonstrating throughout the United States and Internationally. Rex is also a well-known woodturner who has authored many articles, two books and has co-produced eight woodturning DVDs. He is best known for his large wall hangings and platters. Rex worked for many years for Craft Supplies USA, a woodturning supply company. He was over the new products division and turning workshops. Rex currently is teaching woodworking at Lehi High School in Utah. He spends his summers teaching woodturning and selling his turnings at fine art and craft shows across the United States.
