Graham Blackburn has been making furniture for more than 40 years. He has written over 20 books on woodworking, including the recently published Furniture Design & Construction. He has also contributed to many woodworking magazines, including Fine Woodworking, Popular Woodworking, and Woodwork— of which he was also the Editor — as well as having taught and lectured extensively across the United States. Graham is also a musician (having played and recorded with many Woodstock artists), an avid sailor, a plate illustrator, and a championship tango dancer. “Furniture, like everything else, is all about balance and rhythm.”

A special note about our photos:

We have taken HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of photos over the years of our students, instructors, and staff — during classes, after classes, and at various gatherings. Throughout this brochure and on our website, you will see many photos that were taken prior to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Images of people without masks or not practicing social distancing were taken before the pandemic and before the safety practices were implemented. Please rest assured, we follow all of the safety precautions and guidelines mandated by our local and state health officials.
