Architectural Woodworking: Build a Traditional Storm & Screen Window including Glazing with Ben Brunick July 25-29, 2022

This class will be an introduction to sash work, by building historically accurate storm sashes. In this course, students will make a matching pair of storm sashes, one “winter” glazed unit and one matching “summer” screen unit. With an emphasis on traditional machine joinery, Ben will not only address how all the steps were once done in traditional sash shops, but how they may be adopted to present day readily available tooling, without compromising either look, construction, repairability or quality.
