Celebrating Paula Bueno
Celebrating 30+ years of exemplary service that began in 1993, we have been privileged to witness a journey of dedication, marked by excellence and grace. Paula has been the heart and soul of MASW, a beacon of knowledge, always professional and organized, serving as the gatekeeper to our success. Through her efforts, she has touched lives every day, crafting a legacy of excellence that not only inspires future generations but also cements her role in our history. As we bid her farewell, but not goodbye, we look forward to her new beginnings, confident that her legacy will remain an integral part of us.
Thank You Paula for 30+ Years of Unwavering Dedication and Service. You will be greatly missed!
Introducing Our Two New Team Members
Jamie Lehman - Registrar
Jamie has visited the school numerous times attending Tuesday presentations, lending a hand in the kitchen, and popping in to say “hello” during her husband’s classes, but it was Woodturning Basics with Will Lerums that sparked a love of woodturning and led to her husband, Gabriel Lehman- artist, woodworker, and instructor at MASW- needing to share his woodshop. (But she allows him to use her lathe, so he doesn’t seem to mind.)
Jamie is a graduate of The IU Kelley School of Business Indianapolis with a career background in accounting and human resources, she volunteers weekly at WildCare, a wildlife rescue in Bloomington, and she writes children’s books illustrated by her husband, Gabriel. Perhaps most importantly, she is overjoyed to become part of the staff and MASW family.
Carla North
Carla North has taken two classes at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking; carving with Alexander Grabovetskiy, painting with Gabriel Lehman, and participated in a charity workshop finishing canes for veterans. She was drawn to the position by the welcoming atmosphere, people and creative energy. Working in administrative positions in government and education combined with an art history degree are strengths she brings to the position. She is excited to be a part of the school and take additional classes!
During your visit to the school, please make sure to stop by and meet our two newest team members. We're excited for you to get to know them!
The Wait is Almost Over!
The countdown is on, and the new season is almost underway! Don’t miss out on new opportunities in the hot shop as the promised renovations are nearly complete. We are excited to see you this summer!
