We always begin and end the season by offering one of our most popular woodturning classes and this season is no exception. A week with Alan Lacer covering all the fundamentals of woodturning in this introductory course is a great way to get turning for the winter and a superb way to close out our 20th year of classes!
Zane Powell was one of the original cabinetmakers way back when MASW was a professional cabinetry shop, so who better to learn the tricks of designing and building custom cabinets from? At least that's what this group of students know, after a week with Zane at the helm.
Our last weekend workshops of the 2013 season are on us, but the enthusiasm remains! This weekend brings us "Making Straight & Curved Waterfall Edges With Michael Fortune" and "Simply Beautiful Serving Trays With Scotty Lewis" - a really great way to close out the season's weekends classes.
Marilyn Campbell mixes artful embellishment with epoxy and woodturning to produce stunning mixed media creations. This group of woodturners get to spend an entire week learning just some of the many things that are possible with epoxy!
Michael is well known for his Butterfly Leaf tables and this lucky group of students gets to see just how he crafts this unique mechanism.
John Hamm and Doug Dale join forces to lead this class through the procedure of replicating an Arts & Crafts wall sconce from the famed Blacker House.
