Comments on the Blog are Now Working!

Welcome to the beginning of both a New Year and a new decade!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I always begin the new year with some major shop organization. Last night it was lumber (can I say sore arm muscles?) and this morning was touch up and organize hand tools. Funny how many times you can buy the same carving tool when they are organized by date I last sharpened instead of by size. Huh, probably should have done this sooner. I’m not sure I need 3 #5 8mm…

On the topic of this blog. Just want to remind folks what my purpose is here. As admin of the blog, my real purpose is to serve as a conduit between you and the staff of MASW. So please don’t be shy about posting your comments and questions here. You’ll find that under each of my postings is a “comments” link which will let you leave your thoughts and questions. Then the fun will begin. You’ll find that I’ll be giving daily attention to the postings here…

Otherwise you may be stuck with paragraphs like the first one- and I’m sure that’s not what you folks are after…

Have a great new year.

Mark

I'll bite and ask the first question. On the topic of tool organization and making sure you don't over purchase, when are the class tool lists going to be posted so we can start making sure we have all the tools we need for our classes? If they are already posted, help me find them. Thanks,

    Mike,
It looks like I've got an answer for you. Our target date for posting the 2010 Tool List is February 10th.

The majority will be up by that date. Please remember, though, but we can't post what we don't have - so the list won't be complete at that date.

Check the blog for instructions around the first of February, as we will start posting them as we add them to our database.

    Hope this helps...

Thanks for the update. That should give us all enough time to update our tool collections before classes start.

    Thanks for the question, Mike.
I always have extra level of respect for the person that dips their toe in first.

We are still "prying" (I think that's the best term) the lists free. I'll check with Marc and reply back as soon as I get an update...
