Any week that we have both Michael Fortune and Scott Grove instructing, we know it’s going to be a very creative week! In fact, it can’t help but be anything else!
Coming off his weekend class “Cold Bronze Casting & Mold Making” there weren’t many body parts left at the school that Scott Grove hadn’t already used to create his usual array body castings, so we were extremely pleased to see Michael Fortune arrive on Monday. Now, we’re always pleased when Michael is at the school, but this time we were extra pleased, as it meant that a new “volunteer” (or is that victim) could help take the pressure off the rest of the staff. Needless to say, Scott wasted no time and Michael’s nose was quickly immortalized for all time.
But that’s not enough to slow down Scott for more than a few minutes, so a couple of design lectures later, Scott tracked me down to show me a quick video he and his class made while they explored the interplay (emphasis is on “play”) of different shapes and designs. Anyway, I couldn’t keep it to myself, so here it is - directly from the mind of Scott Grove to you!
