We may be in between class seasons now as winter descends on us here in Indiana, but it's anything but quiet around the shop
Just last week, Asa Christiana, the editor of Fine Woodworking magazine, payed us a week long visit - and he brought the video gear and the manpower to run it! Asa was visiting us in ordere to shoot all the video and photographs necessary to support a series of articles that Marc is doing for the magazine. The subject being…(wait for it)…Tablesaw Safety!
Personally, I can't think of anybody better to instruct folks in tablesaw safety than our own Marc Adams. I've been following Marc's tips since I cut my first board and I often credit the school with the fact that all 10 of my fingers have remained safe and sound.
Anyway, I thought it might be of interest to everyone to see just what it's like behind the scenes of a Fine Woodworking video shoot. Think of it as me, filming the guys, who are here filming the guy. I realize this is a weak excuse for hanging out at the school during the off season, but when I get a chance to chat with the guys who bring us Fine Woodworking, I take it!! :-)
After you've watched the video, don't forget to check out what Asa had to say about his visit in the FWW Blog. Like I said, it's never dull…
