Well...what an eventful week we've had here!!
As I mentioned in my previous post, our beloved Melvin...our steam mop...was mortally wounded. Doug bravely provided emergency surgery and wasn't able to pull him out of it. His handle was broken and it couldn't be saved. We had a brief memorial service....then threw him in the dumpster and called it "good". He will be missed (sigh.) Please don't say anything to Amy...
On the bright side he can be easily replaced. Sam's Club carries this really cool updated version of Melvin. Hope we can get one soon.
The other day Susie and I were talking about how the best recipes come from mistakes in the kitchen. So, we decided..for the good of our students here at MASW, we needed to try to have more "accidents" in the kitchen. But, here's the question...if we are trying to have "accidents," are they then, really considered accidents?
Also, this week we tried to pull a "WWWWD" Aww....C'mon, you know what I'm talking about. Instead of "WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?" It's "WWWWD (What Would a Wood-Worker Do?)" Ahhh...The mind of a Wood-Worker. It's a very scary place to be. My advice..don't go there.
