We took our church youth to a National Conference and we did a lot of mission work. It was a good trip but really "brutal," what with the work and the heat. So now I'm back to MASW, ready to take on a new week of classes. This week, Marc is teaching Marquetry and Michael Mocho is here with "Turned Boxes and Beyond!"
I'm sure that things did not go as smoothly as usual last week. Susie is just being polite when she said things went "great" without me. She doesn't want me to feel bad for leaving. I understand and I appreciate her consideration of my feelings. It can't be easy filling my shoes. I mean, who else doesn't set the timer? Who else doesn't put the stainer in the sink to prevent the spaghetti from going down the drain? Who else can make perfectly sized muffins on an inconsistent basis? Yup...that's me alright!! I'm irreplaceable. [no arguments here, Karen! -markwithak]
