Mitered dovetails are hidden, technically challenging, joints that tended to be used on the most important personal furniture pieces, like desks, writing / traveling boxes, tea chests and bottle cases. Planning and precision are the answer to success cutting mitered dovetails. All of the work can be done by hand; some of the work must be done by hand. It is Mack's goal to have everyone cut at least one good corner during the weekend.
