Dates: 8/23/2014 - 8/24/2014
Tool List: Click here for tool list
Jewelry boxes are an opportunity to show off those special highly figured woods and although small, offer the chance to develop many skills. In this weekend workshop, we will each complete the woodworking on a veneered jewelry box with a removable sliding tray. The veneering will involve vacuum bagging a tight radius curve and edge work. Bill will also demonstrate vacuum clamping and making fixtures to simplify the machining and joining of multiple identical parts. This finished jewelry box is the perfect Christmas present--or a perfect way to ensure that your spouse will let you come back next summer. Sign up early because this class has sold out for five straight years.
