Masters Fellowship

During the federal period of our nation's history, many merchants and businessman joined the ranks of the wealthy elite and to demonstrate their success, they adorned their homes with elegant pieces of furniture and related decorative arts. No other furniture form best exemplifies the federal period than the card table and of that genre, the demilune is perhaps the most widely known and respected. Of the many urban centers producing these elegant tables that stood as a blatant demonstration of wealth, Baltimore artisans created the finest. The table that we'll me making in this class proudly falls in that tradition with a double fly leg, detailed round top and inlay galore. The finished project will surely become a family heirloom passed down for generations.
